자기를 부인하라

새찬송가 461 장(통 519 ) 십자가를 질 수 있나

예수님의 제자가 갖추어야 할 세 가지

34 무리와 제자들을 불러 이르시되 누구든지 나를 따라오려거든 자기를 부인하고 자기 십자가를 지고 나를 따를 것이니라

34 Then he called the crowd to him along with his disciples and said: “If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me.

목숨보다 귀중한 예수님과 그분의 말씀

35 누구든지 자기 목숨을 구원하고자 하면 잃을 것이요 누구든지 나와 복음을 위하여 자기 목숨을 잃으면 구원하리라 36 사람이 만일 온 천하를 얻고도 자기 목숨을 잃으면 무엇이 유익하리요 37 사람이 무엇을 주고 자기 목숨과 바꾸겠느냐 38 누구든지 이 음란하고 죄 많은 세대에서 나와 내 말을 부끄러워하면 인자도 아버지의 영광으로 거룩한 천사들과 함께 올 때에 그 사람을 부끄러워하리라

35 For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me and for the gospel will save it. 36 What good is it for a man to gain the whole world, yet forfeit his soul? 37 Or what can a man give in exchange for his soul? 38 If anyone is ashamed of me and my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man will be ashamed of him when he comes in his Father’s glory with the holy angels.”

영광의 모습으로 변형되신 예수님

9:1 또 그들에게 이르시되 내가 진실로 너희에게 이르노니 여기 서 있는 사람 중에는 죽기 전에 하나님의 나라가 권능으로 임하는 것을 볼 자들도 있느니라 하시니라 2 엿새 후에 예수께서 베드로와 야고보와 요한을 데리시고 따로 높은 산에 올라가셨더니 그들 앞에서 변형되사 3 그 옷이 광채가 나며 세상에서 빨래하는 자가 그렇게 희게할 수 없을 만큼 매우 희어졌더라

1 And he said to them, “I tell you the truth, some who are standing here will not taste death before they see the kingdom of God come with power.” 2 After six days Jesus took Peter, James and John with him and led them up a high mountain, where they were all alone. There he was transfigured before them. 3 His clothes became dazzling white, whiter than anyone in the world could bleach them.
