백부장의 간증

새찬송가 144장(통 144) 예수 나를 위하여

백부장의 고백
39 예수를 향하여 섰던 백부장이 그렇게 숨지심을 보고 이르되 이 사람은 진실로 하나님의 아들이었도다 하더라
39And when the centurion, who stood there in front of Jesus, heard his cry and saw how he died, he said, “Surely this man was the Son of God!“

예수님의 죽음을 지켜본 여자들
40 멀리서 바라보는 여자들도 있었는데 그중에 막달라 마리아와 또 작은 야고보와 요세의 어머니 마리아와 또 살로메가 있었으니 41이들은 예수께서 갈릴리에 계실 때에 따르며 섬기던 자들이요 또 이 외에 예수와 함께 예루살렘에 올라온 여자들도 많이 있었더라
40 Some women were watching from a distance. Among them were Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James the younger and of Joses, and Salome. 41 In Galilee these women had followed him and cared
for his needs. Many other women who had come up with him to Jerusalem were also there.

빌라도에게 예수의 시체를 구한 아리마대 요셉
42 이날은 준비일 곧 안식일 전날이므로 저물었을 때에 43 아리마대 사람 요셉이 와서 당돌히 빌라도에게 들어가 예수의 시체를 달라 하니 이 사람은 존경받는 공회원이요 하나님의 나라를 기다리는 자라
42 It was Preparation Day (that is, the day before the Sabbath). So as evening approached, 43 Joseph of Arimathea, a prominent member of the Council, who was himself waiting for the kingdom of God, went boldly to Pilate and asked for Jesus’ body.

죽음을 확인하고 시체를 내준 빌라도
44 빌라도는 예수께서 벌써 죽었을까 하고 이상히 여겨 백부장을 불러 죽은지가 오래냐 묻고 45 백부장에게 알아본 후에 요셉에게 시체를 내주는지라 46 요셉이 세마포를 사서 예수를 내려다가 그것으로 싸서 바위 속에 판 무덤에 넣어 두고 돌을 굴려 무덤 문에 놓으매47 막달라 마리아와 요세의 어머니 마리아가 예수 둔 곳을 보더라
44 Pilate was surprised to hear that he was already dead. Summoning the centurion, he asked him if Jesus had already died. 45 When he learned from the centurion that it was so, he gave the body to Joseph. 46 So Joseph bought some linen cloth, took down the body, wrapped it in the linen, and placed it in a tomb cut out of rock. Then he rolled a stone against the entrance of the tomb. 47Mary Magdalene and Mary the mother of Joses saw where he was laid.
